Inkontinens delas vanligen upp i följande undergrupper:
• Ansträngningsinkontinens
• Trängningsinkontinens
• Överflödesinkontinens
• Blandinkontinens
De olika inkontinenstyperna har olika symptom och behandling. Därför är det viktigt att utreda vilken typ av inkontinens kvinnan har.
Vanligen görs en basalutredning i form av allmän och symptominriktad anamnes och gynekologisk undersökning. Även miktionslista, stresstest, residualurin-bestämning och blöjvägningstest är vanligt förekommande. Komplettering kan även ske med urodynamisk undersökning. |
